They have gone and done it again.
Every year, fans across the NFL wait patiently for the release of their schedules for the upcoming season.
And each year, the 32 teams try and come up with new, creative ways of announcing their schedules.
It has become the one day of the year when the Los Angeles Chargers tend to lead the NFL.
In fact on NFL Network they called the 2025 schedule release day ‘The Chargers’ Super Bowl’ – which I admit hurt a little.
The anime and Sims schedule release videos in recent years have been viral sensations, and after just one watch, I am confident the 2025 Minecraft version will follow suit.
So what are the highlights of this year’s Chargers schedule release video?
should we REALLY make our schedule release video in minecraft?

Raiders fans go on QR code journey
For the second game of the season against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Raiders character begins to decorate their bedroom.
Pictures are put up on the wall, including a QR code which is very quickly removed.
When scanned, those who visit the Chargers website are asked to declare if they are fans of the Bolts or Raiders.
If you click Raiders, prepare yourself for a journey. The sarcastic quips keep coming, until a screen-wide ‘L’ ends the ride.
Chiefs magic ended by ‘Ender Eagle’
In the first Kansas City Chiefs clips, head coach Andy Reid and selected players appear to be casting a ritual.
This, of course, is in reference to the Chiefs’ good fortune in 2024, which saw them win a number of games in the most unlikely of circumstances.
Flash forward to Week 15 of the video, and the Chiefs have entered a portal which they summoned in the Week 1 clip.
There, Mahomes and co. encounter the Ender Eagle – both in reference to the Ender Dragon in Minecraft and the fact the Eagles ‘ended’ the Chiefs’ hopes of a third-straight Super Bowl.
The Chiefs players prepare for battle, but much like in the Super Bowl are unable to damage their opponent in any way.
‘Best Wild Card record’
A slightly harder-to-notice ‘dig’ came in the Minnesota Vikings section of the video.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell goes into a house to speak to Sam Darnold, who is busy making himself some shiny new Seattle Seahawks armour.
Hanging from the ceilings of the house are a number of banners, all of which poke fun at the Vikings.
The ‘Best Winning Record Among Wild Card Teams 2024’ hangs proudly above the fire. Though I must admit I did have sympathy for the Vikings finding themselves as fifth seeds last season with a 14-3 record.
Even so, one of many well executed Easter eggs included in the video – did we ever expect anything else?
