Will the LA Rams make a move before the trade deadline?
The 4 November NFL trade deadline is looming, and the chatter around the league is starting to heat up ahead of Tuesday.
Will Los Angeles Rams General Manager Les Snead live up to his famous phrase?
The phrase coined by Rams fans of ‘F*** Them Picks’ came after Snead’s willingness to trade away draft capital for top players to keep the Rams competitive.
The likes of Jalen Ramsey, Matthew Stafford, Brandin Cooks, and Von Miller have all landed on the Rams through LA trading away draft picks.
With LA currently possessing two first-round picks in the upcoming 2026 draft – their own and the Atlanta Falcons – one has to wonder if Snead will be tempted to trade one of these picks away for an elite-level player.
Here are three positions the Rams could target ahead of the trade deadline.
Cornerback (CB)
The Rams traded for Tennessee Titans cornerback Roger McCreary this past week. Snead and the Rams only gave up a fifth-round pick to land McCreary, and they got a sixth-round pick back in return.
However, the Rams may opt to acquire another CB to further help their chances for a run at the Super Bowl.
Akhello Witherspoon is currently on IR, and none of Quentin Lake, Cobie Durant, Darious Williams or Emmanuel Forbes have been able to tie down the number one spot on the roster.
Potential targets: Cam Taylor-Britt (Bengals), Riq Woollen (Seahawks)
Wide Receiver
The Rams are not short of talent at wide receiver. The duo of Davante Adams and Puka Nacua is one of the best in the league.
The two have combined for 85 receptions on 128 targets, 1,047 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns – with Nacua also rushing three times for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Jordan Whittington is third for the Rams in receptions with 12 catches for 121 yards, meanwhile deep threat Tutu Atwell, who is now on IR, has 164 yards and a touchdown on four receptions.
Adding a third wide receiver to accompany Nacua and Adams would make an already impressive passing game almost impossible to stop.
Potential targets: Brandin Cooks (Saints), Allen Lazard (Jets), DeAndre Hopkins (Ravens)
Tight End
The Rams currently have four Tight Ends on their depth chart, but 22-year-old rookie Terrance Ferguson appears to be one for the future.
Ferguson has two catches for 52 yards on four targets as well as a touchdown.
Colby Parkinson, whom the Rams acquired during 2024 free agency, has seven catches for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Davis Allen has had eight catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Tyler Higbee has been the Rams’ most productive tight end with 13 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in just five games.
However, if the Rams were to trade away one of their TEs, it would give them room to manoeuvre a trade for a top tight end, once again making their offense one of the best in the league.
Potential targets: David Njoku (Browns), T.J. Hockenson (Vikings)
